We understand that sometimes the car buying process can be overwhelming. We’re here to help you make an informed decision about your purchase and find a monthly payment that works for you. Using our auto guide tools you can calculate your monthly payment, search for a used vehicle or build a new one, check car values and history, and even get pre-qualified for a loan online. If you have any questions about buying a vehicle, just give us a call or stop by an LSCU location at your convenience.

Buying your next vehicle in 3 easy steps

1. Know what you can afford

You can use one of our calculators to see how much you can afford or find your monthly payment. Once you have an idea of what you want to spend, get pre-qualified online, by phone, or in-person. Getting pre-qualified means that you’ve secured financing for your new vehicle and puts you one step ahead when it comes to negotiating a good price. We are happy to provide you with a pre-qualification letter to let the dealer know you already have financing.

2. Find the right car at the right price

An easy place to start your search is online. Our Vehicle Search tool uses a nationwide database to find the perfect vehicle at a dealership near you. Once you’ve found your new car, do a little research to check the car’s history and compare prices.

3. Make sure your new purchase is protected

Now that you have the keys to your new car, you’ll want to verify you’re protected should there be unexpected circumstances. Although you may not anticipate it, you may encounter a situation where you are unable to make your loan payment or cover the cost of repairs to your vehicle. We have several options to help ensure that you’re covered.

  • Extended Warranty
  • Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP)
  • Credit Life & Credit Disability Insurance
  • Member Credit Protection
  • Depreciation Protection
