In Our Community

Doing good

Lone Star Credit Union was founded on a vision to make our local community stronger through shared values and high-impact relationships. Today, our team is committed to supporting local causes that are important to our Members and have a strong community impact. Our communities are how we are connected to one another. That’s why it’s not just important to give back but to strengthen, grow, and most importantly, show our gratitude. Without the support of our communities we would not be able to fulfill our mission.

Community Impact

Good Deeds

Throughout the year, our employees select a good deed to benefit our communities. These good deeds may be giving of time, donations, or funds. In 2024, LSCU employees participated in the Bee Happy Hot Cocoa 5k in Kaufman, Hunt County's annual Bras for the Cause fundraiser, Ferguson Road Initiative's Operation Beautification, and Greenville ISD's Pawsitive Pages just to name a few!

Local Sponsorship & Donations

In 2024, Lone Star Credit Union employees gave more than 750 hours of their time through volunteering at local organizations. LSCU has championed a variety of causes, local events, and organizations through sponsorships and donations.

LSCU is a proud sponsor of the Ferguson Road Initiative, which facilitates the community’s vision for the complete economic revitalization of Far East Dallas.

We are proud to support charitable organizations that positively impact our community through sponsorships and donations. We will consider sponsorships to civic and charity events, programs, and publications located within our communities served. Organizations interested in a sponsorship should complete our request form.
